• 1. Study of factors affecting migration flows:

  • Assessment of the impact of regional economic parameters and the presence of large city-forming enterprises and national companies on migration flows in Kazakhstan (2025).

  • Comprehensive analysis of the current migration situation in Kazakhstan using scientific research methods, including sociological, analytical, statistical, and mathematical methods, expert evaluations, and SWOT analysis (2025):

    1. internal migration;

    2. migration of ethnic Kazakhs (kandasy);

    3. identification of key issues and trends.

  2. International experience:

  • Study of international experience in regulating and stimulating migration flows, considering the following criteria (2025):

    • experience in regulating internal migration with digital solutions applied in Kazakhstan;

    • experience in adapting ethnic migrants using digital solutions;

    • migration policy implementation (e.g., resettlement support programs, quota policy, economic incentives);

    • successful cases in regulating migration flows based on identified issues;

    • experience with repatriates (e.g., Germany, Israel, South Korea).

  3. State services and IT infrastructure:

  • Preparation of a list of migration-related services provided by government agencies and organizations with references to regulatory acts and responsible entities (2025).

  • Development of recommendations for improving IT infrastructure for managing migration processes (2025):

    • creation of a unified digital database of migrants;

    • automation of migrant registration and monitoring processes, as well as public services;

    • integration of IT solutions with state population accounting systems;

    • use of AI and big data technologies to forecast migration flows;

    • development of online services for migrants (information support, document submission, tracking application status).

  4. Migration policy and recommendations:

  1. Development of recommendations for Kazakhstan’s government agencies on regulating and stimulating internal and ethnic migration flows (2025).

  2. Development of strategic proposals to improve Kazakhstan’s migration policy based on identified issues and international experience (2025).

  • Research on foreign labor force in Kazakhstan (2025).

  • Analytical studies of foreign scholars’ insights and recommendations (Europe, USA, China) on preventing professional burnout among teachers working with students with disabilities (2024).
